ABOUT US

When we purchased Ascot on Fenton (previously known as Ascot Motel) in early 2002, we had a vision of creating a complex where people could relax in an immaculately clean and comfortable Apartment at a realistic price. We both came from many years of customer service and have very high expectations of the service that people should be able to not only expect but should always receive.

We offer a full range of scrumptious breakfasts ranging from Continental breakfasts, to fresh fruit , yogurt and Muesli to yummy café style cooked breakfasts delivered to your apartment.

Rotorua Events Centre: 1.5 km’ s or about 15 minute walk.
Rotorua District Air Port 9 Km’s
approximately 10 Mins drive
Napier: 225 Km’s about 2.5 -3 hours
Taupo: 78 Km
One hour easy drive
Waitomo Caves:167 Km 2 hours drive from Rotorua
Wellington: 480 km’s About 5-6 hours driving depending on traffic and weather conditions
Whitianga:
About 3 – 3.5 hrs depending on the exact route taken.

Eating in Rotorua:
We are in the middle of around 50 odd Café’s, restaurants, bars, grills, bistro’s and outlets supplying meals or take away food; ask us for advice on where to eat and what to try! We know most of them! As we are local

Fishing: We are well qualified to provide you with the fishing experience of a life time be it meandering up a little back country stream stalking an huge elusive brown trout of 10-12 lbs or trolling for a brace of Rainbow trout in one of the lakes.

Heating:
Our complete complex is supplied with continuous on demand renewable source of eco friendly Thermal heating. There are no restrictions at all on this resource and we encourage all our guests to stay warm

Location: Where exactly is Ascot on Fenton located?
We are centrally located, directly opposite a large Supermarket which is open 18 hours a day. We are just 400 metres from the start of the City, with great shopping, cafes, restaurant and bistro’s, and banks, We are near to the world famous thermal area whakarewarewa , 2 renowned Spa Facilities, and famous scenic wonders and a all the other adrenalin rushing adventure activities which make Rotorua famous.

Laundry facilities:
We offer our guests an overnight laundry service at a very nominal cost which saves them time, money and effort. This takes away the drudgery of washing and drying cloths whilst on vacation

Linen, bedding and towels:
All apartments are complete with high quality sheets, duvets/quilts towels and face cloths. Soap and shampoo

Safes:
we have digital in apartment Safes available for Guests on request.

Television:
We have 12 channel’s of TV including Sky TV in all apartments

Things to do in Rotorua:
Rotorua is the Tourist capital of NZ and as such there is far more to see and do in Rotorua than any where else you will visit in New Zealand. One of The most common comment our departing Guests make is “we must return to really see Rotorua” and “We really needed at least another whole day” Rotorua deservers at least 2 complete days to even start to appreciate the basic beauty and enjoy just some of the attractions of this magic City

All our 1 bedroom, 2 bed room and Executive apartments have their own private spa pools. All the Studio Apartments have individual single spa Baths
We provide hi speed wirless broadband internet access in all apartments for just $9.95 per 24 hour period

What type of water is in your Spa Pools:
We offer our guests fabulous fresh drinking quality water for their enjoyment in their Spa pools and Spa baths. They are all heated by renewable geothermal energy. There are world renowned mineral thermal spa facilities located at Polynesian Spa pools just 800 mts away, Waikite Hot Pools, Waiora Spa facilities, and the famous QE Spa.
